If you love technology and have a knack for creating engaging content, then this may be the opportunity for you. We’re looking for someone to support the marketing team and work on creating engaging content to help build our digital presence. This individual will have an appetite for learning, digital content writing and a knack for being both creative and detail oriented.

Knowledge, experience and familiarity with the following is preferred:

  • Can take the lead on copywriting for the tech digital arena including, blogs, digital copy and occasionally sales support materials.
  • Good understanding of LinkedIn and how to leverage engagement with the building of strong content.
  • Aids in the development of strategic marketing initiatives and activities.
  • Can help with creating branded advertising campaigns, and support the marketing team by coordinating and collecting content.
  • Setup tracking systems and analytics for marketing campaigns and online activities.
  • Build SEO, keyword campaigns, conversion events and monitor Google data.
  • Support the daily back-end tasks and execution linked to marketing and digital campaigns.
  • Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities.
  • Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Bonus: Help build landing page designs, brochures and other marketing collateral.

Education

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Marketing/Communications or related.
  • Two to five years of experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and digital strategy.
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and highly motivated.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
  • Working knowledge of email automation systems like Hubspot, Constant Contact, Vbout ect.
  • Has basic knowledge of lead generation and developing lead-generating campaigns.
  • Ability to gather data and convert it into meaningful analysis.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible and self-thinker.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
  • Proficient in WordPress, Microsoft Office, Canva, Photoshop (bonus).

Junior AV Technician

Location: St John’s, NFLD

If you love technology and want to work on configuring and installing complex AV systems that focus on video conferencing and collaboration solutions, this is the team and organization for you. These individuals will have an appetite for learning and a knack for getting their hands on as much cool technology as they can.

Knowledge, experience and familiarity with the following is preferred:

  • Installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: installing connectors, mounting projects and monitors.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
  • Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
  • Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
  • Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work and think independently and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Minor programming capability (Control Systems & DSP’s) – changes and troubleshooting

Education

  • Certifications in AV or related field preferred
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License

Experienced Sales Executive

Location Opportunity: Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto

Ignite is looking for enterprise salespersons who strive to push boundaries and develop their careers each and every day. The position is a remote work from home and can be located in Calgary, Ottawa or Toronto. Evolving at a rapid pace, Ignite is looking to provide complete collaboration and security solutions for companies of all sizes and verticals and thus requires experienced a-players with a thirst for action and an appetite for customer success.

This role entails that you establish trust and credibility with end-users & partners through solid interpersonal skills and understanding how to marry business outcomes with technology platforms as well as

  • Articulate and manage sales cycles to present the value of our full solution suite to decision-makers
  • Developing and managing relationships within enterprise organizations, presenting to C-level executives the value of our services
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement while creating satisfied customers

  • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C-level
  • Excellent presentation and poise

Unified Communications Engineer – Intermediate/Senior

Location: Calgary or Toronto

If you love technology and want to work on designing, configuring and installing complex networks that focus on voice, video conferencing and collaboration solutions, this is the team and organization for you. We are looking for individuals who are passionate and have knowledgeable IT minds. These individuals will have an appetite for learning and a knack for getting their hands on as much cool technology as they can.

Knowledge, experience and familiarity with the following is preferred:

  • Proficient UC / Collaboration skill. Network route/switch expertise and network security fundamentals a requirement
  • Must 10+ years of related IP telephony design and implementation experience in the following areas:
